Centerville SDA Church is proud to have an active and thriving Pathfinder Club, the Dayton Area Eagles. Pathfinders is a worldwide youth organization for kids ages 10-15. As a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church, the two main purposes of the club are to foster a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide opportunities to learn practical life skills.
These two purposes are accomplished through a variety of fun and engaging activities like community service, crafts and hobbies, drum corp, marching and drilling, field trips, camping and other outdoor activities. The curriculum is age specific and is meant to challenge and develop the unique talents of each member by encouraging personal skill and character development, all while drawing closer to Christ, having fun, and building bonds with their peers.
For kids older than age 15, there is additional teen leadership training that is offered to supplement the original Pathfinder curriculum.
If you are interested in learning more about this exciting youth group, please contact the church secretary at (937) 433-7007. We are always looking for new members and staff to join the family!
